Biosketch
Dr. Dillon is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College and the Medical College of Pennsylvania. She completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Brown University/Rhode Island Hospital immediately prior to beginning her Diagnostic Radiology residency at Dartmouth Medical School/Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. Following Diagnostic Radiology residency, Dr. Dillon completed a fellowship in Pediatric Radiology at Harvard Medical School/Boston Children’s Hospital. Dr. Dillon is board-certified in both Diagnostic Radiology and Pediatric Radiology. She was recruited to the University of Kentucky in September 2011 as an Assistant Professor of Radiology and Pediatrics, and she served as the Division Chief in Pediatric Radiology until February 2017. Dr. Dillon was subsequently promoted to associate professor of Radiology and Pediatrics. She enjoys sharing her expertise in evidence-based imaging, frequently partnering with referring clinicians in an effort to choose the most appropriate imaging study for their patients. Dr, Dillon is passionate about pediatric radiology and she has particular interest in the imaging of pediatric emergencies, especially nonaccidental trauma (NAT). In addition to her duties as a pediatric radiologist in the Division of Pediatric Radiology at the University of Kentucky, Dr. Dillon is pursuing a Ph.D. in Clinical and Translational Science.
Dr. Dillon is certified by the American Board of Radiology with Subspecialty Certificate in Pediatric Radiology.
An award-winning educator, Dr. Dillon was selected as a Harvard Macy Scholar in 2010 and again in 2011 at Harvard Medical School/Harvard Macy Institute. She has a passion for pediatric radiology and is particularly interested in evidence-based imaging.
